British Airways, one of the world’s largest and most established airlines, kicked off the second leg of its latest campaign; Face-to-Face. This campaign aims at bringing hoards of Chigaco-based business owners to London in order to provide leads in business and tips to revitalize the economy.

Business owners and entrepreneurs from in and around Chicago have flown to London courtesy British Airways for the Face to Face campaign. This campaign underlines the importance of in-person meetings for encouraging businesses. The airline encouraged business owners in the US to send out special stories on how businessmen could help their trade grow by seeking a face-to-face meeting overseas. The winning stories won free travel from New York, Los Angeles and Chicago to London.

Close to a thousand entrepreneurs from the United States have been sent out into the world courtesy British Airways. Face-to-Face meetings have been conducted by the dozens. Often, businessmen and entrepreneurs have returned with a high rate of success.

Also, London was chosen as one of the destinations as it is one of the largest recipients of investment from the North American companies. It has lower commercial property rates as compared to the US , and London has a deeper talent pool and considerable depreciation of the sterling occurred to the dollar. Since both the countries were quickly gaining ground, many companies were encouraged to act.
