Tour operators get creative

Monday, 6th July 2009

Good news for holiday makers. Dwindling tourist figures are forcing tour operators to get creative and dream up new and interesting packages to tempt travellers. For those who have been everywhere and seen everything, this is a great time to take a break as the horizons just got broader.

One company that has been burning the midnight oil is Creative Holidays. They have recently released a new holiday brochure containing a range of over 13,000 products, under the slogan of ‘create your kind of holiday’ aimed at every type of traveller.

Justin Montgomery is the Managing Director of Creative Holidays. In a recent interview he admitted that: this year is both the best and worst time to travel. It is the worst for many because of lack of funds. However, for those who can afford to travel this is the best time to pick up fantastic deals.

“Price is always going to be important in an uncertain market, “Montgomery said. “However, the $19 hotel is not always the best hotel- That’s been quite a tricky message to communicate. “It is a great time for example, to get an upgrade to an ocean room.”

For those who want to see and do something truly different this summer, the options many and varied and the prices are simply spectacular.
