Flight consolidator launches holidays business

Initially the holiday operator is featuring accommodation in Arrecife, Dalaman, Heraklion, Las Palmas, Paphos and Tenerife.

Agents will receive a minimum of 10 per cent in commission, according to Teleticket Holidays, will have access to a direct dial phone number to speak with its consultants and also have access to all special offers.

Paul Kilcoyne, the company’s manager, said: “We understand that to launch a new travel product in the current climate is a challenging and bold move, but this is solidly based on what the agents want. We undertook some research amongst the trade and discovered that we could enhance our current flight offering.”

He explained: “Our agents told us that in addition to our existing great value fares, there was a strong demand to package our flights with accommodation. So we have launched Teleticket Holidays as a direct result of listening to the trade. For the agents the additional protection of our ATOL makes the whole package easier to sell.”

The travel company will also provide free name changes on bookings that outside the four weeks from departure point, free booking amendments outside eight weeks and also a free baggage allowance.
