British Airways announces summer schedule changes
Thursday, 26th March 2009
Services from Gatwick to Dublin, Geneva and Zurich will also be cut, although the suspension in service to Geneva is for the summer only.
Daily flights to Atlanta and BA’s twice-daily service to Toulouse will be moved from Gatwick to Heathrow before the summer schedule starts on 29 March.
Changes to the summer schedule include the resumption of flights to Riyadh and Jeddah on 31 May.
Silla Maizey, the BA customer director, noted: “We are opening up these new routes to Heathrow after moving them from Gatwick and are confident that with the combination of T5 and our fantastic full onboard service and low prices, they will be very popular with customers.
Maizey went on to say: “Business users will find the flights to Toulouse now more convenient than ever and by moving our flights to Atlanta from Heathrow, our customers will have smoother connections and far better access to the rest of our global network.”
Return fares to Toulouse are available from £133 in Euro Traveller class and £341 in Club Europe.
From Heathrow to Atlanta, return fares, inclusive of taxes and charges, start from £332.50 in World Traveller class and £1,396.50 in Club World, on bookings made before 7 April.
