One parking service is happy with Heathrow's Terminal 5

Despite all the problems reported at Heathrow Terminal 5, one group operating from the airport is happy. Meteor Meet and Greet Parking has declared the terminal to be a success. In the first month of operating from the new facility, the parking service has secured over 1,500 bookings. The company says its sales have exceeded expectations and it is fully satisfied with the first class service it has been able to deliver from T5.

The news comes among hordes of negative criticism for the facility, particularly for its service provision.

Sarah Anglim, Director for Meteor Meet and Greet Parking said: "From the very first hour of operation for Heathrow Terminal 5 our service worked smoothly. Despite the widely reported problems elsewhere, the launch of our meet and greet parking operation went exactly to plan and we provided the same high standard of service which we offer to all our customers – either elsewhere at other Heathrow terminals or at our other airport locations."

With over 25 years of experience, Meteor Meet and Greet Parking offers specialized service at Gatwick, Heathrow, Birmingham and Manchester. The service allows travelers to drive right up to the terminal and hand over their car to a qualified chauffeured driver, unloading their heavy luggage directly in front of the terminal building. Drivers call their chauffeur when they land and their car is waiting in front of the terminal for them to drive away.
