The low-cost parking facility recent announced that it has acquired Old Station Yard Cardiff airport parking and will, as a result, now be able to offer customers more parking spaces at the airport.
The spaces at the former rival’s car park will be operated by Cardiff Airparks as a satellite facility. As a result of the acquisition, there will be no shortages of parking spaces for peak periods during this summer for travelers flying from Cardiff Airport.
Dillyn and Jean Gore formerly owned and operated Old Station Yard and Cardiff Airparks hopes that it will continue to provide safe parking services for all of the Yard’s loyal customers.
The new satellite facility for Cardiff Airparks is located three miles west of the airport near St Athan. The hard surface car park will add a significant number of spaces to Cardiff Airpark’s offerings, bringing the total number of spaces to 1,400.
The main facility for Cardiff Airparks is located across the road from the airport itself and thus provides the closest parking to the airport outside the airport facility itself. Transfers from the car park to the terminal take only three minutes.
Cardiff Airport recently announced its summer flight schedule with several new routes making it an attractive departure airport.
