Hertz is expanding its online offerings beyond car hireHertz Car Rentals is offering its customers for the first time, the ability to use its website to book a whole host of travel related services, from airport car rentals to travel insurance, to airport parking.
The new Hertz Rental website allows travelers to satisfy all of their travel needs in one stop. Now visitors to the website can book their car rental online but as well they can access comprehensive hotel listings and airport parking service information. The website also provides ideas about day trips in many destinations and information on travel insurance packages.
The offerings on the new website are offered to Hertz customers as a result of a variety of partnerships between Hertz and others in the industry like Hotelopia, Mondial and Holiday Extras.
The new one-stop travel service is called “Get More”. Marketing Director for Hertz Europe, Lesley Lindberg, said that shopping was gaining in popularity, and as such, expected the “Get More” services to be quite popular.
Hertz is increasingly expanding into more aspects of the travel industry, diversifying beyond offering only car rental services. Hertz recently signed an agreement with Opodo, a travel service provider with a strong online presence.
