A new rail pass makes traveling to the airport cheapA new rail pass has been introduced by ACP Rail International, allowing for extensive travel within Britain including transportation to and from major airports near London. The BritRail London Plus Pass is a bargain, allowing travelers and residents alike to save money while exploring southeast England by train.
The newest Plus Pass provides travelers with Airport Express train transfer vouchers, allowing for quick and easy transportation to the airport without the worry of airport parking. In addition, the pass allows for extended rail destinations like Bristol.
The two day standard pass includes two Airport Express vouchers and starts at £68. To compare, a standard round trip ticket to Heathrow costs £29, making the pass a great deal for anyone who plans to travel by rain during their stay. The company is offering two, four and seven day passes as well as first class passes.
London based travelers can also take advantage of the pass to make day trips throughout the southeastern region, returning each night back home. The flexible nature of the pass allows users to travel on non-consecutive days. Destinations like Brighton, Oxford, Salisbury and Cambridge are included in the pass.
Airport Express trains operate every 15 or 20 minutes to Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted. From Paddington Station, Heathrow is just 15 minutes by train.
