BA has launched a website about T5British Airways, the flagship carrier of the UK, will soon be launching a new website to help educate passengers about the facilities at Heathrow’s newest terminal building which is scheduled to open this March. The website will offer information about all of the services offered at the airport from hotels to parking to airport lounges.
Terminal 5 is scheduled to open on March 27th this year for the exclusive use of British Airways.
Paul Stars, BA’s commercial manager for the Middle East said: "We believe that the new and ultra-modern Terminal 5 will re-establish Heathrow as the international transit hub of choice.”
The website will be offered in eight languages. “The dedicated Terminal 5 website is a great opportunity for our customers to become familiar with the new facility as they plan their 2008 travel in advance,” Starrs said.
The website describes smooth check-in procedures and all information regarding departures and arrivals at the Terminal as well as connecting flight information.
Those with layovers or time to kill in T5 can plan their time using the website which provides information about the various airport lounges (known as Galleries), spas, restaurants and shops.
The website has information about getting to and from the terminal including public transportation options like the Heathrow Express, as well as car rental services, road access and parking facilities.
