A new parking service has been introduced at Manchester

The ultimate service in airport parking has just been launched at Manchester Airport. Travelers can now take advantage of valet parking services.

Those wishing to have their cars parked for them by a valet can now park their car in the designated VIP parking enclosure, located at Terminal 1. There, they can unload their bags directly in front of the terminal building and hand over their keys to a qualified valet.

Valets drive the car to a secure car park and arrange to have the car waiting in the VIP enclosure upon the traveler's return.

Director of car parks for Manchester Airport, Andy Cliffe said that the new service is not only convenient for travelers but also good for the environment. When people chose valet parking instead of being dropped off by family and friends, there are fewer trips to the airport required.

"Obviously the best environmental solution is for people to come to the airport by public transport, but not everyone is able to or wants to travel by bus, train or tram," he commented.

"The next best option is to just make one return journey to the airport and that means providing car parking here at the airport."

In addition, Andy Cliffe says that the new service represents the airport’s continuing commitment to improving its services and operations. "We're really proud of this first valet parking service provided by Manchester Airport," he said.

"We want to offer our customers choices that make the journey easy and this service is ideal for customers who want the ultimate convenience at great value for money."

Valet parking at Manchester Airport starts from £7 a day. The airport also offers long and short stay regular parking.
