Police call for info about Gatwick collisionAn incident at a Gatwick car park last month is still an open case for police at the international airport, since both the victim and the perpetrator drover away after the incident. The fact that the problem was never resolved comes form the fact that the victim became enraged after being hit, and the perpetrator became agitated, panicked and fled the scene before any information could be exchanged.
Police describe the incident as a two-car crash that took place outside the car park close to the bus stop at the South Terminal. A woman driving a silver Citroen Saxon came from behind and hit a man driving a red saloon car. The male driver, surprised and angry, got out of his car and threatened the woman driving the silver Citroen, causing her to drive away without resolving the situation.
The incident took place in a relatively busy area, and Gatwick police are asking that anyone who may have seen the incident come forward and present any information that may be of help with the case. The crash happened around 9:15 on the 14th of November, and any information should be given to PC Mark Osborn at Gatwick Police Station. 0845 607 0999.
