Airport shuttles and budget airlines team upHoliday Taxis is a company that runs airport transfer services as well as shuttling passengers that have booked their journeys through a package tour. The company is now saying it aims to increase its passenger capacity to 2 million users by next year.
Their strategy to keep their company growing has taken the form of a deal with budget airline Jet2, based out of Leeds Bradford Airport, making Holiday Taxis the preferred (but not exclusive) transport company to bring their customers safely to the airport to catch their flights.
Paul Stanyer is the Chief Executive Officer of Holiday Taxis and he sees the move as perhaps the first of several partnerships with airlines looking for ways to assure passengers safe airport transfer.
He says, 'The dynamic packaging boom and growth in passengers arranging their own holidays using flights from budget airlines are key to Holiday Taxis' growth. The company is delighted to be the new preferred supplier to Jet2, and hopes to announce two more partnerships by the end of the year.'
Sales director Russell Parr is as enthusiastic about growth through partnerships with budget airlines. He says, 'We are focused on doubling business next year and we are looking at other opportunities that come our way. We want global reach.'
