Most stressful part of travel is getting to the airportTravelling is definitely a stressful affair for many people, and a new survey conducted by National Express Dot2Dot has found that among those surveyed, it was the part of getting to the airport that participants found the most nerve-racking.
The survey included people from all over the United Kingdom, and getting to the airport was found to be more stressful than any other leg of the journey for the majority of passengers. It was the opinion of the majority that getting there was more stressful than remembering to lock the house, remembering passports and other items, even the landing and take off of the flight itself.
The survey found that it was women who get more jumpy on the way to the airport, while it was mostly men who made the arrangements. The issue most likely to cause an argument being whether they're making god time or not.
When it comes to driving to the airport, 40% said they would rather drive themselves than rely on a taxi or shuttle service. Taxis were the best way to go for 20% and 23% said they rely on their friends to get them to the airport.
