Jet2.com offers Manchester-Nice flights ahead of schedule

Tuesday, 16th August 2005

Flights aren't usually known for being early, but Jet2.com has announced that it will be selling seats for its Manchester-Nice route earlier than previously announced.

The news comes following BA's decision earlier this week to withdraw all its flights from the route, giving holidaymakers wishing to fly from Manchester a chance to do so.

Manchester Airport offers an excellent selection of customer facilities including wireless hotspots for internet access, as well as various shops and services. Great value car parking is provided and the Airport has 14,000 car parking spaces with convenient disabled parking close to the airport entrance.

For customers who would like to use the new service, tickets go on sale today, rather than later in the year, and the Airport is situated just 10 miles from Manchester city centre, 80 miles from Birmingham and 60 miles from Leeds.

Last week BA announced it will be scrapping eight of its routes from Manchester Airport as they were deemed too business orientated.

They have been replaced by a further eight routes that fly to more tourist friendly destinations, such as Tenerife.

With all of the new tourist-orientated flights, the airports services such as hotels and car parking may become a little busier. To avoid disappointment, customers could consider pre-booking their parking online.
