Directions: Exit the M11 at Junction 8A (travelling from the south) or Junction 8 (travelling from the north) and follow signs for Stansted Airport, take the first slip road on the left signposted Long Stay. At the roundabout take the first exit signposted Long Stay Car Park. Go straight over the next roundabout. The entrance to the car park is 400 yards on the left.

Transfer Time: A courtesy bus service runs between the car park and terminal. It takes approx. 10 mins and operates 24 hours a day, every 20 minutes.

Stansted London Airport Parking Procedure at Pink Elephant

Arrival Procedure: At entry barrier DO NOT press the button to get an entry ticket. Insert the same credit card used to make the booking (check that it matches the last 4 digits shown on your confirmation) with the magnetic strip facing down and to the right - A ticket will be issued containing your unique booking reference and the barrier will open. A ticket will NOT be issued if the wrong credit card is used. Either, insert the correct card or press the button to obtain an entry ticket. Follow signs to the open zone.

Departure Procedure: On return go to the pick up point on terminal forecourt to collect the bus. If you entered using your credit card, drive to the exit barrier and insert the entry ticket issued with the booking reference on it. The barrier will open. No money will be taken from your card unless you have stayed longer than booked. If you took an entry ticket you must report to the Payment Office situated on the left-hand side just prior to the exit barrier where your booking will be processed manually. DO NOT insert a credit card at the exit barrier as you will be charged again at the standard gate rate.

Minimum Stay: 5 days, a minimum charge of 5 days will be made, customers requiring fewer than 5 days parking should not pre-book as it is cheaper to pay on departure.

Maximum Car Size: None. Motor Homes should be parked in zone D, from where you walk to the Administration Building to request a transfer.

Disabled Facilities: Spaces are located near all bus stops. Buses accommodate wheelchairs/easy access. An assistance button can be pressed on arrival to the car park.

Security: There is CCTV, floodlighting, high security fencing and 24 hour surveillance.
