Transfer Time: Transfers operate 24 hours a day to all terminals every 15 minutes, taking from just 5 - 11 minutes.

Arrival and Departure Procedures

Arrival Procedure: This car park operates a Debit/Credit card recognition system. With all bookings (EXCEPT with Essential Travel). So before leaving you must make sure you take the card used for the airport parking payment plus your booking confirmation.

At the barrier place the same payment card used to make the booking into the slot on the barrier control panel. Please do not press for a ticket. Your booking will be recognised and the barrier will raise automatically. If you do not have the same card used to make the booking OR your card is not recognised, please do not insert a different card, as you will be charged again for the parking. Call the attendant by pressing the help buzzer at the barrier and show them your booking reference number. Then proceed into the car park to park your vehicle and then catch the Free transfer bus to the terminal.

If you have booked with Essential Travel: Take a ticket at the entry barrier and park your car. You will of course need to bring with you your booking confirmation.

Departure Procedure: Catch the transfer bus back to Shuttle Park car park. Below are the directions to the bus stop for each terminal.

Terminal 1: leave the arrivals hall building and head onto the paved forecourt, where there will be a taxi rank immediately in front of you. The bus stop that will take Shuttle Park customers back to the park itself is just off to the right of the forecourt, and is very well labelled with all destinations.

Terminal 2: Leave the arrivals area through any of the exit doors on that level and turn left. Keep going in that direction until you reach the end of the terminal building; the bus stops for all locations are situated here, Shuttle Park's will be clearly marked.

Terminal 3: Bus stop is the same for both drop offs and pick ups - directly outside the T3 arrivals area, opposite the Spar shop that is fairly easy to spot, just inside the terminal building.

Once you have caught the transfer bus back to the car park drive to the exit. The departure procedures are the same as the arrival procedures, so once at the barrier insert the same payment card used to make the booking into the slot on the barrier control panel. You booking will be recognised and the barrier will raise automatically. Please note if you do not have the same card used to make the booking OR your card is not recognised, please do not insert a different card. Call the attendant by pressing the help buzzer at the barrier and show them your booking reference number.

If you have booked with Essential Travel: Press the buzzer at the exit barrier and then show the operator your booking reference on your email confirmation.

Security at Shuttle Park

Security: This car park is manned 24 hours a day with CCTV, is well lit and has a security barrier on entry and exit operating a Debit/Credit card recognition system. The car park has full security fencing surrounding the entire compound and there are also frequent patrols by security vehicles.

Directions:

From M56 - Leave the motorway at Junction 5 for Manchester Airport. At the traffic lights you will see the Hilton Hotel in front of you. Follow the signs for Cheadle leaving the Hilton Hotel on your right. At the next roundabout take the second exit, continuing down West Ringway Road. Proceed down this road to the traffic lights at the Total petrol Station, and turn right. Follow Styal Road for a short distance looking out for Manchester Airport Shuttle Park on your right.

Disabled Facilities: Their car parks are DDA compliant, so all disabled customers are able to park in suitable places.

Other Information: We recommend that you should allow at least 30 minutes to check in and transfer to the Airport.
