Arrival and Departure Procedures

Location: Off Airport

Arrival Procedure: On arrival park in the reception area and check-in. Hand in your booking confirmation or quote your booking reference and car keys. Purple Parking staff will park your car for you whilst you can catch the free transfer bus to the terminals.

Departure Procedure: Once you have collected your luggage from baggage reclaim call Purple Parking on the Freephone number they gave you on arrival. Then proceed to the bus stop and catch the transfer bus back to the car park. Go to the reception with the receipt they gave you on arrival, then collect your car keys before exiting the car park.

Security at Purple Parking

Security: This car park is manned 24 hours a day with CCTV, is well lit and has a security barrier on entry and exit. The car park has full security fencing surrounding the entire compound and there are also frequent patrols by security vehicles.

How to find Manchester Purple Parking

Directions:

From M60 North - Leave M60 at Junction 7 onto the A56. Just before Altrincham you will pass Halfords on the left. Go straight on through the traffic lights and turn right into Woodfield Road, this becomes Norman Road. Purple Parking is on your right at the end of the road.

From M6 Cheshire - Leave the motorway at Junction 19 onto the A556 and drive towards the roundabout at the M56 Junction 7 towards Altrincham. Go straight across the traffic lights where the Cresta Court Hotel will be on your right. Turn left by the Wheatsheaf Hotel onto Oldfield Road. Take the second right turn on to Lawrence Road. Go straight across the roundabout and turn left onto Norman Road. Purple Parking is on your right at the end of the road.

Other Information: We recommend that you should allow at least 35 minutes to check in and transfer to the Airport.
