Transfer Time: Transfers operate 24 hours a day to terminal 2 only. These run every 15 minutes, taking just 5 minutes.

Arrival and Departure Procedures

Arrival Procedure: This car park operates a Debit/Credit card recognition system. With all bookings (EXCEPT with Essential Travel). So before leaving you must make sure you take the card used for the airport parking payment plus your booking confirmation.

At the barrier place the same payment card used to make the booking into the slot on the barrier control panel. Please do not press for a ticket. Your booking will be recognised and the barrier will raise automatically. If you do not have the same card used to make the booking OR your card is not recognised, please do not insert a different card, as you will be charged again for the parking. Call the attendant by pressing the help buzzer at the barrier and show them your booking reference number. Then proceed into the car park to park your vehicle and catch the free transfer bus to the terminals.

If you have booked with Essential Travel: Take a ticket at the entry barrier and park your car. You will of course need to bring with you your booking confirmation.

Departure Procedure: From the airport: Follow exit signs and make your way out of the arrivals lounge. Follow signs for Manchester Airport Car Parks bus stops. Once you have made your way back to the car park drive to the exit. The departure procedures are the same as the arrival procedures, so once at the barrier insert the same payment card used to make the booking into the slot on the barrier control panel. You booking will be recognised and the barrier will raise automatically. Please note if you do not have the same card used to make the booking OR your card is not recognised, please do not insert a different card. Call the attendant by pressing the help buzzer at the barrier and show them your booking reference number.

If you have booked with Essential Travel: Press the buzzer at the exit barrier and then show the operator your booking reference on your email confirmation.

Security: This car park is manned 24 hours a day with CCTV, floodlighting and security fencing, security barriers work with a credit and debit card recognition system on entry and exit and frequent patrols by security vehicles.

From Junction 5, M56 - Leave the M56 at Junction 5. Keep to the left and take the first exit signposted terminal 2. At the first roundabout turn right following signs to terminal 2. At the second roundabout take the second exit signposted Long Stay Parking keeping to the right hand lane. Proceed straight on at the third roundabout then turn right at the T-junction then left at the next junction. The entrance to Manchester Airport Long Stay T2 is straight in front of you.
