Arrival and Departure Procedures

Location: Off Airport

Arrival Procedure: On arrival park in the reception area and check-in. Hand in your booking confirmation or quote your booking reference and car keys. APH staff will park your car for you whilst you can catch the free transfer bus to the terminals.

Departure Procedure: From the airport: Follow exit signs and follow signs for Manchester Airport Car Parks bus stops. Catch the transfer bus back to the car park, go to the reception with the receipt they gave you on arrival, then collect your car keys before exiting the car park.

Security at APH Manchester

Security: This car park is manned 24 hours a day with CCTV, is well lit and has a security barrier on entry and exit. The car park has full security fencing surrounding the entire compound and there are also frequent patrols by security vehicles.

This car park has been awarded the Park Mark® for Safer Parking. The Park Mark® means that you are parking in a car park that has been vetted by the police to make sure that the site has had measures put in place to create a safe environment. Park Mark® awarded parking areas are run by responsible operators who are concerned with your safety and the safety of your vehicle.

Disabled Facilities: The car park has transfer buses which are accessible for wheelchair users.

Directions:

From M60 anti-clockwise - Leave M60 at Junction 5 then exit at the second junction 2 signposted A560. At roundabout turn left signed Sharston. At the next roundabout continue straight over and then left at next roundabout into Sharston Ind. Estate. Take the first left and car park is on the right.

From M60 clockwise - Leave M60 at Junction 4 on to the M56. Leave M56 at Junction 2 signposted Wythenshawe. Go right at roundabout into Sharston Ind. Estate. Take first left and the APH car park is on the right.

From M6 Cheshire - Join the M56 and exit at Junction 3A signed A560. Turn right onto A560 and go straight over next roundabout. Turn left at next roundabout into Sharston Ind. Estate. Take 1st left and the APH Manchester is on the right.

Vehicle Restrictions: Trailers are not accepted. Vans will only be permitted if they are under 2.4 metre height restriction, which applies to any vehicle and that it fits into a normal car parking space.

Other Information: We recommend that you should allow at least 35 minutes to check in and transfer to the Airport.
