Long Stay Parking South (LGW) Car Park Information
Long stay south parking previously known as Parking Express is the official long stay car park at Gatwick airport.
It holds the Secure Car Parks Award and the parking lot is entirely enclosed by security fences while cameras monitor the area. Additionally, guards regularly patrol the car park.
Every 10 minutes, a shuttle bus provides transfers to the airport's South Terminal only and is available around the clock, every day of the year. The procedure for parking at Gatwick Parking Express is simple. Just head to an entry barrier and press the green button. The parking lot's electronic system will read your vehicle's registration number and confirm if you are a pre-paid registered client. Next, a ticket showing your reservation reference number will be issued to you. You should keep this ticket safe. You can continue your journey to the terminal once your car has been parked.

Directions: Exit the M25 at Junction 7 onto the M23 towards Brighton. Continue for approx 10 minutes then exit M23 at Junction 9. At the next roundabout turn left and follow the signs for the South Terminal, then Long-Term car parks, clear yellow signage will then direct you to the Parking Voucher Holders Only Car Park on the left hand side. You are now following signs for Pre-booked parking only, which will take you to the entrance barriers.

Transfer Time: Transfers are only to South Terminal, take courtesy coach which operates every 7-10 minutes, 24 hours a day and takes just 2-4 minutes.
Gatwick Airport Parking Procedure at Long Stay South
Arrival Procedure: This car park operates an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system so it is essential you have entered the correct vehicle registration when making your booking. On arrival take a ticket from the barrier and follow the signs to the appropriate area and park your car. Proceed to a bus stop and await a bus to transfer you to the airport. During peak periods your keys may be taken and car parked for you. Remember the zone where you have parked.
Departure Procedure: On your return after transfering back to the car park and providing your booking reference is printed on your entry ticket, drive to the exit barriers, insert your entry ticket and depart. Should the word 'Cashier' and NOT your booking reference appear on the entry ticket, park outside the exit office and exchange your entry ticket and email confirmation (or quote booking reference) for an exit ticket.

Maximum Car Size: Maximum size of vehicle must fit within a standard car parking space. No motor homes or transit vans. Trailers are accepted but there is an extra charge.
Disabled Facilities: There are arrangements that can be made for disabled customers. Once you have booked call the car park direct to arrange.
Security: Parking Express staff carry out frequent, highly visible patrols of our car parks. The car parks are also covered by a comprehensive CCTV system and are enclosed by security fencing. Parking Express has been awarded the Secured Car Park Award an award issued by the Association of Chief Police Officers in recognition of a company's efforts to minimise the incidence of crime.
