How to find Shuttle Economy 1 Car Park

Directions: From the North M1 - Exit the motorway at Junction 24 and follow the signs to East Midlands airport, taking the A453 for approximately half a mile. Turn right into the airport.

From the South M1 - Exit the motorway at Junction 23a and follow the signs to the airport.

From the West A50 - Follow A50 to Junction 24 then follow the signs to East Midlands airport.

Once you enter the airport follow the signs for the Shuttle Economy car parks which are clearly signposted by the main entrance. Then turn left at the first roundabout and following the road until the next roundabout. Go straight over the roundabout until the third roundabout. Turn left and at the next roundabout turn left again. At the 5th roundabout, continue straight on into the Shuttle Economy 1 car park.

Transfer Time: Transfer buses operate 24 hours a day and the journey time to the airport is 8 minutes.

Arrival and Departure Procedures

Arrival Procedure: This car park operates an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system, so please make sure that you enter the correct vehicle registration when making your car park booking. At the entry barrier your registration number will be recognised and a ticket will be printed showing your booking reference, please keep this as it is will be required on your return to be inserted on exit barrier. Then park your car, remembering the zone. Keep your keys and then catch the free transfer bus to the airport.

Departure Procedure: Once through customs head for the Courtesy Transfer Bus stops. Catch the bus back to the car park. Drive to the exit, insert your entry ticket into the machine at the barrier. Your number plate will be read and the barrier will lift automatically. If the barrier does not raise please press the intercom buttom and quote your booking reference number.
