How to find Short Stay Car Park East Midlands

Directions: From the North M1 - Exit the motorway at Junction 24 and follow the signs to East Midlands airport, taking the A453 for approximately half a mile. Turn right into the airport.

From the South M1 - Exit the motorway at Junction 23a and follow the signs to the airport.

From the West A50 - Follow A50 to Junction 24 then follow the signs to East Midlands airport.

Once you enter the airport follow signs for Short Stay car park. Please take the left or middle barriered lane for entry into the Short Stay car park, or right lane for the Rapid Drop Off zone.

Transfer Time: The short stay car park is opposite the terminal taking approx 1 minute to get to the terminal building.

Arrival and Departure Procedures

Arrival Procedure: There is no need to pay in advance, simply turn up, take a ticket from the barrier and park your car. For Rapid Drop Off zone, there is no need to take a ticket on entry, simply pay on departure at the exit barriers.

Departure Procedure: To exit the car park, insert your entry ticket in the pay stations either within the Arrivals building (opposite the Information Desk),in front of the short stay car park/taxi office, or at the pay stations by the exits then return to your car, proceed to the exit barrier and insert your validated ticket to exit the car park.

Security: This car park is manned 24 hours a day with CCTV, floodlighting and perimeter fencing and frequent patrols by security vehicles.
