How to find Highwayman Parking Cardiff

Directions: From the M4: Exit the motorway at Junction 33 and follow the A4232, signposted Barry and Cardiff airport. After approx. 3 miles exit the A4232 at the Culverhouse Cross interchange. At the roundabout at the top of the slip road, take the 3rd exit (signposted A4050, Wenvoe, Cardiff Airport & Barry). Continue on the A4050 for 3 miles, travelling straight across five roundabouts. At the sixth roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A4050 (signed Cardiff Airport), heading towards St. Athan and Llantwit Major. Continue straight over four roundabouts, joining the B4265 (signposted Llantwit Major).

Take the first left (signposted 'Highwayman Inn'). Do not turn left up the lane; keep right, into the village of Fonmon. Drive through the village of Fonmon, past the duck pond, and turn left onto Port Road. Follow the road for 3/4 mile and the car park is on the left-hand side, just past the Highwayman Inn.

Transfers

Transfer Time: Free transfers operate every 15 minutes. The bus takes just seven minutes to reach the airport.

Arrival and Departure Procedures

Arrival Procedure: When you arrive at Highwayman Cardiff, park in one of the marked bays, the furthest available bay directly in front of you, without entering the main gates. Report to reception and present your confirmation or quote your reference number. You will be given a receipt for your car then all you need to do is board the couresy bus to the airport.

Departure Procedure: Once through customs proceed to Highwayman Parking's new drop off and collection point. Follow the instructions given to you on arrival and catch the bus back to the car park to collect your keys and car.

Security at Highwayman Parking

Security: This car park is manned 24 hours a day with CCTV, floodlighting and perimeter fencing and frequent patrols by airport security vehicles.

This car park has been awarded the Park Mark® for Safer Parking. The Park Mark® means that you are parking in a car park that has been vetted by the police to make sure that the site has had measures put in place to create a safe environment. Park Mark® awarded parking areas are run by responsible operators who are concerned with your safety and the safety of your vehicle.

Disabled Facilities: All the Highwayman buses have access for disabled passengers with a step to enable easier access into the bus and you will be dropped off and collected outside the terminal building.

Important Information: Highwayman Security Park customers will be unable to take oversized items onto the transfer buses (skis, snowboards, bicycles, surfboards or other similar sized items). To avoid this, you can drop large items off at the terminal with a passenger and then drive your car to Highwayman Parking.
