How to Get to Birmingham Airport (BHX)

Directions: Birmingham airport is easily accessible from all directions in the UK and lies just off the M42.

From the North West: From M6 , leave the motorway at Junction 4a onto the M42 signposted for London and Solihull. At Junction 6 of the M42 take the A45 and follow signs for the airport.

From the North East: From M42, leave the motorway at Junction 6 onto the A45 and follow signs for the airport.

South: From M40, leave the motorway at Junction 4a onto the M42 signposted for London and the M1. At Junction 6 of the M42 take the A45 and follow signs for the airport.

South West: From M5 direction Birmingham, leave the motorway at Junction 4A onto the M42 signposted for Birmingham. Leave the motorway at Junction 6 onto the A45 and follow signs for the airport.

South East: From M1 drive towards Birmingham and the Midlands and then join the M6 at Junction 19. Continue until Junction 4 onto the M42 signposted for Birmingham and Solihull. At Junction 6 of the M42 take the A45 and follow signs for the airport.

Arrival and Departure Procedures

Arrival Procedure: You will need to call Meteor parking at Birmingham airport on the phone number provided in your confirmation email 10 minutes before arriving at the airport. Drive directly to the Drop and Go car park. Take a ticket from the barrier and park in the bay near the tall lamp post, located in the centre of the car park, where you will be met by your Meteor chauffeur.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no waiting at the Drop and Go car park, so you must arrive at the agreed meeting time. You must call Meteor Parking on the number in your confirmation email if you are going to arrive earlier or later than your pre-booked time.

Departure Procedure: On your return call Meteor on the phone number provided in your confirmation email from the baggage hall to alert the driver of your arrival. Then proceed to the Drop and Go car park where you left your car.

Security of your Vehicle

Security: This car park is manned 24 hours a day with CCTV, floodlighting and security fencing and frequent patrols by security vehicles.
