The airport's three terminals are conveniently connected by the Skylink moving walkway, with each terminal handling both domestic and international flights. ATMs and currency exchange facilities are situated in all terminals, including Travelex counters. There are als post offices. In addition, there is a hairdresser's, dry-cleaning outlet and a medical centre. Six major car hire companies operate from the airport. Disabled passengers will find an excellent array of facilities and prompt assistance from specially trained airport staff. Airport information desks are located in the Arrivals areas.

Shopping, eating and business facilities at Manchester

Manchester International Airport's three terminals are home to many eating and drinking establishments including Starbucks, Burger King and O'Brien's Irish Sandwich Bar. Alcoholic drinks can be had at the Blues Bar and at West Pier Bar.

Duty-free shopping is located in the Departures lounges. Many popular high street shops such as WH Smith, Monsoon, Allsports, Sunglass Hut and Boots can also be found here.

A conference centre capable of accommodating 400 people is part of the airport's basic business facilities. Internet, telephone and fax services are available at the centre. Alternatively, nearby airport hotels such as the Radisson, the Atlantic and Crowne Plaza offer dedicated business service centres.

With around 14,000 parking spaces, visitors wishing to leave their cars at Manchester International Airport should have no trouble finding a spot. Short-stay parking is available in the multi-storey car park, conveniently located next to all three terminals. Secure long-term parking is offered at several locations which are connected to the terminals by a free shuttle service. Alternatively, take advantage of the airport's valet service, which is available on request. Online pre-booking is suggested to avoid delays. Disabled drivers with a Blue Badge will find designated parking spaces at all of the car parks including special parking bays adjacent to the lifts in the Short-Stay Car Park. The airport enforces a no waiting policy outside the terminals and houses a petrol station on the premises.

Getting into the city of Manchester

The quickest option to reach Manchester city centre from the airport is by rail. In less than 20 minutes, passengers can arrive at Manchester Piccadilly Station, where rail connections can be made to over 100 UK destinations. Bus services to the city take about an hour, depending on traffic, and National Express coaches connect the airport with many other cities. Metered taxi services can be found outside each terminal.
