Humberside Airport is situated in North Lincolnshire, 10 miles from Grimsby. It is a small regional airport operated by Manchester Airport Group. Scheduled flights to Aberdeen, Dublin and Amsterdam are offered, from where connections to worldwide destinations are available.

Terminals Check-In and Arrival at Humberside Airport

The single terminal has nine check-in desks and handles flights operated by approximately 15 scheduled European airlines. Annual passenger traffic is in the region of 400,000 to 500,000. The small and compact terminal provides a number of amenities for travellers flying from the airport. The Food Village offers a range of cooked foods, sweets and beverages to choose from. Refreshments are also available in the Departures Lounge. Bars des Voyagers is a bar offering an assortment of alcoholic drinks and it is located within the Food Village.

Though the airport is relatively small, the needs of business travellers have not been overlooked. The airport has four car parks with 400 short-term and 700 long-term parking spaces. The short-term car park is known as Car Park 1. All car parks are situated relatively close to the terminal building and are enclosed by perimeter fences. Payments are paid on return at one of the payment stations in the Arrivals Hall, outside the terminal or at the airport Help Desk. There is an area for dropping off passengers outside the main building, while those picking up arrivals are advised to park in the short-term parking area provided. The car parks are operated by BCP and it is advised that you pre-book your parking space online, where substantial savings can be made on the cost of your parking.

Getting into Grimsby, Huddersfield, Hull, Lincoln and York

There are a number of major towns and cities located in the area, the closest being Grimsby, which is 10 miles from the airport, while other destinations within easy range include Huddersfield, Hull, Lincoln and York. Humberside Airport is located on the A18 road, three miles from Junction 5 of the M180. The M1, A1, M18 and M62 are all linked to the airport. Stagecoach operates the HumberFlyer service between Hull and Grimsby, which departs every 90 minutes; the pick-up point is situated just outside the terminal. The closest train station is at Barnetby, three miles from the airport, and an Intercity service via Doncaster connects to main towns in the northeast, Yorkshire and beyond.
