Gatwick Airport is the second busiest airport in the UK. It also has the title as the busiest single-runway airport in the world. Terminals Check-In and Arrival at Gatwick Airport

Shopping, eating and business facilities at Gatwick
A wide range of shopping is offered at the airport. Gift shops, travel accessories and newspapers, specialist designer goods and electrical and technical goods are provided by some of the UK leading retailers. The airport has a large duty-free selection, with discounts of up to 40 per cent on selected perfumes and 20 per cent on a range of wines and spirits.
Gatwick Airport is committed to the highest standards of food and beverage services. There are a number of restaurants and fast-food outlets at Gatwick Airport including Caffé Nero, Caffé Uno and Garfunkel. A Wetherspoon's pub is also located in the North Terminal.
Wireless internet service is provided throughout both terminals. Meeting and conferencing facilities are located at the United Business Centre on the seventh floor of the South Terminal. Full secretarial support is provided with broadband and fax services. There is a business-class lounge available in the North Terminal, while the Aviance Lounge offers complimentary drinks and snacks, and for a small fee is available to non business-class travellers.
Parking and drop off at Gatwick
It is advised that parking be booked online prior to your arrival; alternatively, phone bookings can be arranged. Both terminals have their own long-term designated parking areas with security. A courtesy coach runs to the terminals regularly. Ample short-term parking is also provided for stays of up to 5 hours. Disabled parking spaces are provided and valet parking is offered. Getting into the city of London
The Gatwick Rail Station is located at the South Terminal and from the North Terminal it is only a short journey by shuttle train. The Gatwick Express runs to London Victoria Station and takes only 30 minutes. A number of rail operators go to locations throughout London and the Southeast. National Express Coaches offer direct services to Brighton, Bristol, Birmingham, Cambridge, Norwich, Oxford and Central London. Private hire taxis are provided by Checkers Cars and theirbooking office is at the North Terminal. A journey into London takes just over one hour.
