Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield has one main terminal which handles all airlines and destinations, including flights to both UK and overseas destinations. The majority of flights from the airport are operated by Thomsonfly, with a few flights operated by Thomas Cook, Pegasus, Air Europa, BH Air, easyJet and Ryanair. The terminal has two floors, with Check-in located on the ground floor as you enter the terminal building. The departures and arrivals lounges are situated on the ground floor of the terminal building.
Shopping, eating and business facilities at Robin Hood Airport
Robin Hood Airport's Food Hall is located landside, providing a fine mix of cuisines. Also situated here are a lunch and coffee venue, a bar and a convenience store. Special meals and offers for kids are available at all airport eateries and baby food is available free of charge.
Alpha Airport Shopping provides duty-free shopping, with everything from spirits, cigarettes, wines, watches and sunglasses to cosmetics available. Only passengers with boarding cards may make purchases from the duty-free outlet.
Robin Hood Airport does not have supporting business facilities. An executive lounge will be accessible to all passengers and business travellers towards the end of 2006. Meanwhile, there are several good hotels located near the airport providing sufficient business amenities. Getting into the city of Doncaster or Sheffield
Robin Hood Airport is well serviced by rail and road. Dedicated shuttle services run every hour from the airport to Doncaster Railway Station; the train station is situated seven miles from the airport. Coach services to destinations countrywide are provided by National Express, while frequent local buses link the airport with Doncaster. From the city of Doncaster, there are excellent bus connections to destinations around the region.
