The regional airport in Blackpool is not very big, but the number of passengers passing through the facility on a yearly basis is significantly increasing. The main hall serves as the Arrivals Hall and eateries and shops are situated here as well. The airport provides sufficient car parking facilities. The car parking facility is located adjacent to the terminal building.

In the main concourse, a bar and an excellent buffet are available, providing a variety of meals, snacks and beverages. The International Departures Lounge hosts a small bar. There are some shops selling books, newspapers and non alcoholic drinks as well as a duty-free shop.

Parking and drop off at Blackpool
The short-stay parking area can be found directly outside the terminal building. The two car parks providing long-stay car parking are situated nearby, just a short walk away. Disabled passengers will find specially allocated parking spaces. Long-term car parking can be booked online for the best deals on parking rates. There is a minimum stay of three parking days if you want to pre-book.
Getting into the city of Blackpool
The airport is situated three miles southeast of Blackpool. The city of Blackpool can easily be reached by rail and Squires Gate Station is only a five-minute walk from the terminal building. Trains depart and arrive frequently from Preston Station. Train tickets can be purchased on the train. Buses also serve Blackpool Airport and operate to and from the airport's entrance to Blackpool, North Fylde and Lytham St Anne's. Buses operated by National Express Coach Services run to Squires Gate Station, located near the airport,.The airport taxi rank is situated outside Arrivals and taxis are on hand to meet arriving passengers.
