Belfast International Airport operates both domestic and international flights through its single terminal, with all arrivals situated on the ground floor and the new and improved Departures lounges located on the first floor. Shopping, eating and business facilities at Belfast
There is a wide range of shopping available throughout the terminal building at Belfast International Airport, with many high street names such as Boots and Virgin Music Store represented, as well as numerous duty-free outlets.
In addition to excellent shopping facilities the airport provides a good selection of food options, ranging from Burger King to the well-regarded Café Paul Rankin, for refreshments try the traditional Irish pub or the airport's wine bar.
Visitors requiring business services should look out for the business lounge that is associated with the Bank of Ireland; here refreshments are provided free of charge alongside facilities such as internet, telephone and fax.
Parking and drop off at Belfast
There are three parking options at Belfast International Airport, all of which are situated within walking distance of the terminal building. The short-stay car park is aimed at those picking-up or dropping-off passengers, with steep charges for longer stays, while the main car park is reserved for stays of up to four days, making it ideal for short breaks and business passengers. For stays of more than four days, head to the long-stay car park, where a cheap daily rate is applied after the initial four-day period. All car parks at Belfast International Airport offer designated disabled spaces as well as a pre-booking service.
Getting into the city of Belfast
Passengers heading into Belfast can catch the Airbus, which runs every 30 minutes to many destinations including Belfast Central Station in the city centre. For Londonderry, jump on the Airporter coach service, which runs from the airport hourly. Belfast International Airport's closest train station is Antrim, which can be reached by shuttle bus for connections to many parts of Northern Ireland. For services farther afield, head to Belfast's Central Station. Taxis are available from outside the terminal building, with sample fares being posted on the wall at the terminal's exit.
