Important Information Re Gatwick’s Monorail
The monorail linking Gatwick’s South and North terminal will close to passengers from 28th September 2009. A replacement bus service will then operate and depart from the upper forecourt of both terminals every three minutes during the day (04.00 – 18.00) and every six minutes at night. You should allow 20 minutes to transfer between terminals. A new rail system will come into service mid 201O as part of a £1 billion investment by BAA in improving Gatwick airport.
