Situated within the grounds of the NEC Exhibition Centre Birmingham the Holiday Inn Express Birmingham airport is also conveniently located to Birmingham International train station, less than 2 miles away, where there is a free direct monorail link to Birmingham airport. Getting to the hotel is easy too as it can be reached in minutes from Junction 6, M42.
Guests at the 3 stay Express by Holiday Inn can enjoy a comfortable nights stay in an en-suite bedroom with power show, cable TV, WiFi and tea and coffee facilities.
Although there is no restaurant at this hotel the hotel includes a sports bar where there is a small selection of hot and cold dishes available from 6.00pm - 10.00pm. Breakfast is included where you can enjoy a continental breakfast, as well as sausages, bacon, scrambled egg and beans.
Transfers to Birmingham Airport
Transfers operate between the hours of 7.30am - 10.30am and 4.00pm - 8.00pm to Birmingham International Train Station, at a cost of £2.00 per person, this charge is for a return so does include pick ups from the station. Once at the station you simply catch the free monorail service to Birmingham airport. You will need to buy tokens for your journey, these can be purchased in the hotel reception at a dedicated token machine. Then hand your token to the driver.
If you wish to travel outside these hours then a taxi would cost approx. £8.00 each way.
However if you have included an Off Site holiday parking package where your car is parked at APH or Airparks, simply drive to the airport car park on day of travel, from there you will be provided with free transfers to the airport from the car park.
